Manu came into our lives silently, as fragile as a breath.
One day Shyamah found him on the street: he had just been born, tiny, with his eyes still closed. A ball of life that couldn't have survived on its own.
When we saw him, there was no need to even think about it.
We took him in immediately.
At first, Manu was so small he seemed made of wind and breath. He needed everything: warmth, milk, protection. Day after day we watched him grow, learn to trust, discover the world.
And today… Manu has become a giant, cuddly cat.
Despite his little lion's stature, inside he remains that cub who just wants to feel safe. He loves to be held like a baby and often doesn't even meow: he makes a special little sound, a sweet noise that seems to simply say “cuddle me”.
Manu is an incredibly peaceful, tender, and good cat.
Unfortunately, however, he also has a fragility.
Manu suffers from a urinary problem that sometimes makes him unwell. When this happens, he needs veterinary care, medication, and sometimes even a catheter to help him feel better. He follows a special diet and needs regular check-ups.
These are not easy times for him… nor for us when we see him a bit down. But Manu is strong, and every time he returns to being our big, soft, and even funny teddy bear.
Today he lives surrounded by love, warm blankets, and many cuddles.
That kitten found on the street with its eyes closed has become a sweet and gigantic presence that fills the house with calm and affection.
Manu is not just a rescued cat.
He is a small story of trust, care, and love that grows every day.
And when he approaches slowly, makes his little sound, and asks to be held… it’s impossible not to melt.
